The Cramond Association formed the Edinburgh Airport Amenity Group to represent local interests when the airport's present main runway was first opened, and a member of the Group sits on the Edinburgh Airport Consultative Committee.
Edinburgh Airport's Noise Lab (which includes a noise measurment station at Cramond Primary) allows people to monitor and check aircraft noise levels and look at flight specific information, such as flight position and altitude, in almost real time (there is currently a 5 minute delay) using their own radar data. You will also have the ability to analyse historical flights and associated data and read the Airport's Noise Action Plan.
With the growth of Edinburgh Airport, it is important that the local communities continues to have a voice in its development, environmental & human impact.
